Mar 2016: 2016 Celebratory Dinner, Inner Temple. The 4th Annual Dinner was attended by nearly 100 CSyPs and their guests, and certificates of admittance were presented to Richard Latham CSyP, Professor Martin Gill CSyP, Jamie Jemmeson CSyP, Gordon Au CSyP and Bruce Braes CSyP by Lord Alex Carlile CBE QC. The guest speaker was Jane Cannon, Director for Security Industry Engagement, Office for Security and Counter Terrorism (OSCT) in the Home Office with a remit across Government security. Sponsored by Dallmeier UK, Bivonas LLP and Pilgrims Group.


Jan 2016: The Register admitted its 100th CSyP at the WCoSP Burns Night supper at Haberdashers Hall, London. Paul Miller CSyP was presented with his certificate by the WCoSP Master Stuart Seymour CSyP, in the presence of many guests including CSPRA members Garry Evanson CSyP, Peter French, David Gill CSyP and Di Thomas.

Jan 2016: The WCoSP have renewed the contract with the Security Institute for a further period of five years to operate the Register on behalf of the WCoSP.


Jul 2015: Mike Bluestone CSyP, one of the inaugural members of the project team who researched and launched the Register, and founding member of CSPRA, has stepped down from CSPRA. Mike continues to mentor potential registrants and support the RCSP professional interview programme.

 

Mar 2015: 2015 Celebratory Dinner, House of Commons

Another highly successful dinner at the House of Commons, kindly hosted by CPSRA Chairman Lord Carlile CBE QC. 12 new CSyPs received their certificates of admittance, and the guest speaker was Lord Ramsbotham GCB CBE, the former HMG Inspector of Prisons.

Aug 2014: Certificate Presentation to new CSyPs

At a special ceremony hosted at Church House Conference Centre, certificates of admission were presented by the Chairman of the Security Institute (Emma Shaw CSyP) and the Master of the Worshipful Company of Security Professionals (Barrie Stewart) to 6 CSyPs.


Mar 2014: 2014 Celebratory Dinner, House of Commons

The 2nd formal dinner hosted by CSPRA Chairman Lord Carlile CBE QC at the House of Commons, Westminster on Thursday 20th March 2014. The keynote speaker was Charles Farr OBE. 10 new CSyPs received their certificates of admission. Read the Press Release below.

 

Aug 2013: Louise Lush OBE has stepped down from CSPRA, and we thank her for her commitment during the Register's formative years. Emma Shaw MBA CSyP, the Security Institute Chairman, will take her place.

 

Mar 2013: Celebratory dinner held at House of Lords, hosted by Lord Carlile CBE QC, attended by 119 people. At the dinner, 10 new CSyPs received their Certificates of Admittance. Read the Press Release below.

   

Feb 2013: ASIS UK have become the second organisation to be able to process applications for Chartered Security Professionals. This will be celebrated at a dinner to be hosted by Lord Carlile CBE QC, Chairman of CSPRA, at a dinner at the House of Lords, Westminster on Friday 22nd March 2013.
